Busy, busy

I have been quit busy the last couple of weeks. So sorry for not updating that often. Been playing enough poker, but also writing articles, coaching is picking up and applying for a new job. Time to get back to work.

This month, like the past few months is rollercoaster bankroll wise. I was up 2K in the first few days and went all the way down to -3k and back up again to +1,5K :). I still spend a lot of time going through my database. I use the HoldemManager articles as a basis for that. HM still proves to be excellent value for money.

Just a few fun hands±



MrT is a 20-13 regular and folds 50% to 3bets. So he is a bit passive. Supastan is 24/22 with 13% 3bet over 350 hands. He had been fairly aggressive this session. Bolton was a 31/10 with 0% 3bet over 90 hands, so fairly passive. I decide to 3bet preflop and expect to pick up the pot a fair amount of the time. However, MrT calls. Surprisingly Supastan repops. This did not make any sense at all. You would only make this move if you expect the blinds to squeeze. However, Bolton hasnt shown any agression and I played 17/15 or so that session and had a tight image with a low 3bet percentage. So would he have had a hand, he would 100% of the time 3bet the button. So I decided to push and have a big amount of FE. Nice when it works...
